Storyline

In TRIPLE 9, a crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist. The only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for "officer down". Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck, action-packed finale filled with double-crosses, greed and revenge.

Movie Reviews

Triple 9 is a dark and gloomy story, which feels strongly inspired by Michael Mann's Heat. Unlike Heat, the film/script doesn't give the characters enough substance to make us care for their outcome in the film. The ordeals of the characters came and went without me feeling any real emotions towards any of them.
This isn't a bad movie but it's not brilliant. There are a few of gun battle/action periods that are really well shot and entertaining enough to keep you interested in the film as a whole. It's not too predictable but there are not enough shocks or tense moments that you would expect from a thriller.

Movie Reviews

I really feel like the people that rated this movie poorly either didn't see the movie and just wanted to give it bad press, or had no idea what the movie was about. The acting and effects of the movie were beyond my expectations, and as far as the storyline, it was Pride and Prejudice. I love the book and movie Pride and Prejudice, I also love zombie movies so this movie was the perfect fit for me. That being said, I feel that this movie would appeal to anyone who enjoys the zombie genre. I had a lot of fun during this movie, I was pleased that it didn't take itself seriously, yet I enjoyed the depth of the characters. I equally laughed and jumped at the shocking moments throughout this movie, and enjoyed every moment. I also must include that I almost didn't see this movie, because of the bad reviews. However, I am very glad that I didn't listen, because I feel like since this is a beloved classic book with zombies people may be upset that this movie was made in the first place. I am a huge Jane Austen fan, I find it a refreshing fun take on the storyline.

Movie Reviews

Zoolander 2 - That name would suggest that it would be very similar to the first one, so I don't really understand why these reviews are so bad.

I read the reviews before I saw it, so maybe it helped that I thought it would be horrible, even though usually the opposite is true. Also, I REALLY liked the first one. I enjoy ridiculous/awkward comedies and most of the actors in this movie.

I have no idea how someone who says they loved the first one isn't a fan of this one.

This movie was awesome. Personally, I think it was overdue and should have been made years ago when the concept and comedy of Zoolander was still in people's heads. The jokes and one-liners were right on par with those in the first one, acting from the MAIN ACTORS was spot-on, and I laughed my balls off. We went on a Friday night in an empty theater, so I don't know how a big theater crowd would react, but I loved it.

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson fell right back into character perfectly and were very funny. Kyle Mooney was hilarious, I wish he had a larger part. Will Ferrell was decent, his performance started out strong, but got out of hand towards the end. Fred Armisen could have been funny, but fell a little flat. Kristen Wiig was deece.

Movie Review

Deadpool is a 2016 film that the eighth film in the X-Men franchise where The Merc with the Mouth seeks revenge in a humorous way.

Wade Wilson is a mercenary who spends his time in New York City protecting teenage girls from would-be stalkers. He meets escort Vanessa Carlysle at a local bar and they become romantically attached for nearly a year. He proposes to her one night, then he suddenly collapses and is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Though she remains by his side, he fears losing her.

One night at the bar that he met Vanessa, he is approached by a recruiter from a secret program. He is offered an experimental cure for his cancer, but he rebuffs the man and leaves. Desperate to live, he reconsiders and leaves Vanessa in the middle of the night to undergo the procedure. He is injected with a special serum by Francis Freeman and tortured for days by Angel Dust in order to trigger a mutation. After weeks of no success, Wade is strapped into an airtight chamber after insulting Francis. The drop in oxygen triggers a healing factor that removes his cancer, but severely disfigures his face and skin in the process. He escapes from the chamber by blowing it up and attempts to kill Francis, only stopping when he claims he can cure Wade's disfigurement. He is then impaled by rebar and left for dead in the destruction of the lab.

Although he tracks her down, he cannot come to terms with his complexion, and he keeps himself away from Vanessa. Wade moves into the home of an elderly blind woman named Al, and with the advice of his best friend Weasel, he becomes a masked vigilante named "Deadpool", and begins hunting down Francis and dismantling his organization.

There's a right way to be single, a wrong way to be single, and then...there's Alice. And Robin. Lucy. Meg. Tom. David. New York City is full of lonely hearts seeking the right match, be it a love connection, a hook-up, or something in the middle. And somewhere between the teasing texts and one-night stands, what these unmarrieds all have in common is the need to learn how to be single in a world filled with ever-evolving definitions of love. Sleeping around in the city that never sleeps was never so much fun.

Movie Reviews

How to Be Single is about a group of people who are trying to deal with relationships in their own way. That's the most simplest way I can explain the plot and this movie just evolves into so much more… drama. First off, the best thing I can say about this movie is the performances from Dakota Johnson and Leslie Mann. Johnson plays a girl in her 20s trying to get over a relationship with her college boyfriend while Leslie Mann plays a doctor who is not sure if she wants to be a relationship ever. Both of them do the best with what they have and they are probably the most enjoyable part of this movie. Also, there were 1 or 2 parts where I was laughing, but that doesn't save the movie from the bad things. First off, the writing is bad. It puts every character in a stereotype that doesn't make them interesting. Also, most of the humor was awkward or just not funny at all. Rebel Wilson surprisingly wasn't that funny. I've seen her in Pitch Perfect and I thought she was hilarious in that movie but in this, she's not that funny at all. Also, you can clearly tell that characters are so unrealistic and there is no way that any of these characters would do the things they do. Another thing that made me mad was the themes of this movie. From reading the title, you would think that it would be about how to get over a relationship and move on. In reality, this movie should've been called How NOT to Be Single because because the movie switches from "It sucks to be single and you need to be in a relationship" to "It's okay to be single" and then it just goes back and forth from there. Overall, this movie was saved just barely from the performances. I give this a 4 out of 10.

Movie Review
In the late 2000s, Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd supervised a script for a third Ghostbusters film written by Year One (2009) co-writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg. Bill Murray later said, in an interview with GQ, that he never read the script after Year One was a commercial and critical failure. Later, Etan Cohen wrote a draft. Aykroyd vehemently denied a rumor that Murray shredded the script. During an appearance on the Howard Stern Show, Murray admitted he had not read that draft either.
